Hon. Justice Anthony Ombwayo
A distinguished Kenyan judge, Hon. Justice Anthony Ombwayo has profoundly shaped environmental and land law, championing justice and sustainability in Kenya.

Born in Siaya County, Justice Ombwayo earned his LL.B from the University of Nairobi and LL.M in Environmental Law from Moi University. His passion for justice and community welfare has driven his illustrious career.
Appointed as a High Court Judge in 2012, Justice Ombwayo has served in Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nyeri, and Kericho. He currently presides at the Environment and Land Court in Kisumu, focusing on environmental justice and land rights.
- 2025 Nakuru Pollution Case: Ordered fines and cleanup for Lake Nakuru pollution, protecting local ecosystems.
